I have not done my usual morning Devoted Time.
It’s weird because I have been up, before Karen, 
With plenty of time but,
Unable to focus very long. 
Then, Karen is awake, 
I am making coffee. 
She wants to talk 
Or just tell me things. 
So I simply listen. 
Interrupted in my thoughts. 
I turn away from my page. 
I enter the day.
